Dosage:
📌 GERD & Heartburn: 20mg once daily for 4-8 weeks
📌 Peptic Ulcers: 20mg once daily for 4 weeks (extend if necessary)

📌 Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Higher doses as prescribed by a doctor

How to Take:
✔️ Take before meals, preferably in the morning
✔️ Swallow the capsule whole with water (do NOT chew or crush)
✔️ If swallowing is difficult, open the capsule and sprinkle contents on a soft food like applesauce
✔️ Missed a dose? Take it as soon as possible unless it’s close to your next dose—never double dose

Precautions

Do NOT take Omeprazole if you:

• Are allergic to omeprazole or other PPIs (e.g., lansoprazole, esomeprazole)
• Have severe liver disease without consulting a doctor
• Are taking medications like clopidogrel (Plavix), warfarin, or antifungal drugs

Long-term use warning:
