Candid Cream (20g) contains clotrimazole, an antifungal medication used to treat fungal and yeast infections of the skin. It works by disrupting the fungal cell membrane, which leads to the destruction of the fungus.

Uses:

Candid Cream is effective in treating:

• Fungal skin infections such as ringworm (tinea corporis).
• Athlete's foot (tinea pedis).
• Jock itch (tinea cruris).
• Candidiasis of the skin (caused by Candida species).
• Pityriasis versicolor (a skin condition causing discolored patches).
• Fungal infections in folds of the skin (intertrigo).

How to Use:

1. Clean the affected area: Wash the area with soap and water, then pat it dry before application.
2. Apply the cream:
   • Take a small amount of cream and apply a thin layer over the affected area and the surrounding skin.
   • Rub gently until absorbed.
3. Frequency:
   • Use 2-3 times a day or as directed by your doctor.
   • Continue using the cream for at least 2 weeks, even if symptoms improve, to prevent recurrence.
