Candid V6 Pessaries are vaginal tablets containing clotrimazole and are used to treat vaginal fungal infections, especially vaginal candidiasis caused by Candida species.
Uses:
- Treatment of vaginal candidiasis (yeast infections), which can cause symptoms like vaginal itching, burning, abnormal discharge, and irritation.
How to Use:

Preparation:
- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after handling the pessary.
- Find a comfortable position ( lying on your back with knees bent or standing with one leg raised).

Insert the pessary:
- Insert 1 pessary deep into the vagina daily, preferably at bedtime. This ensures the medication stays in place and works effectively overnight.
- Use the applicator provided for easier and deeper insertion. If you're pregnant, consult your doctor first, as you may be advised to insert the pessary manually.

Treatment schedule:
- Insert 1 pessary daily for 6 consecutive days, even if symptoms improve before completing the treatment.
Precautions:

During menstruation: Avoid starting the treatment during your period; begin the course after your period ends.

Sexual activity: Refrain from sexual intercourse during the treatment to prevent irritation and spreading the infection.

Pregnancy: Consult your doctor before use, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The use of the applicator might not be recommended in pregnancy.
