Promethazine Syrup is used for the treatment of allergic reactions such as rhinitis and urticaria and can be used as a sedative or sleep aid and also effective for nausea and vomiting prevention, especially in motion sickness.

Initial dose: 25 mg (10 ml) once daily at bedtime or in divided doses.

Maintenance dose: 25 mg (10 ml) per day, depending on the severity of symptoms.

Motion Sickness:

Usual dose: 25 mg (10 ml) one hour before travel.

Repeat dose: 25 mg every 6-8 hours if necessary during prolonged travel.

Usual dose: 25 mg (10 ml) at bedtime.
For Children (2 years and older):

Initial dose: 6.25 mg (2.5 ml) every 4-6 hours.
